Frequently Asked Questions
What is a wedding/event designer?
A wedding designer approaches an event much like an interior designer approaches a space. At Bezelbloom, we look at the celebration as a complete experience, developing a unified visual plan and design for your wedding.
By listening closely to our clients’ ideas, aspirations, and vision, we develop the visual identity and overall aesthetic of the celebration.
Our approach considers the color palette and floor plan to the ceremony design, reception tablescapes, florals, furniture design, lighting, paper goods, cake design, food and beverage presentation, entertainment attire, team attire and the smallest details that create a celebration that feels true to you.
In addition, We recommend and manage the creative partners and vendors necessary to execute the design, overseeing every detail from concept through completion.
Do you work with wedding planners?
Yes, we love working with planners.
While wedding planners manage the overall planning and logistics, we focus on developing and overseeing the creative direction, bringing the visual elements together cohesively and ensuring the design is carried through from the initial concept to the finished celebration.
Do you offer destination wedding design?
Yes. Bezelbloom is available for destination weddings throughout the United States, Portugal or wherever love takes us.
How far in advance should I book your services?
We recommend reaching out as soon as you are engaged. A wedding design process can take anywhere from eight months to two years, depending on the scale, location, and complexity of the celebration. Beginning early gives us the opportunity to become involved during the venue-search process and help you evaluate spaces with the overall design in mind.
The earlier we begin, the more thoughtfully we can develop the concept, source distinctive materials, secure the right creative partners, and bring the complete vision together.
Is there a minimum to work with Bezelbloom?
Yes. Bezelbloom is a full-service wedding design and floral house, and our minimum investment varies based on the scope and scale of the celebration. We accept a limited number of commissions each year to provide the level of creative direction and production each project requires.
Can we use another florist, DIY flowers, or silk flowers alongside Bezelbloom?
For weddings booked in 2027 and beyond, Bezelbloom requires floral exclusivity. When we are commissioned for floral design, our work may not be combined with arrangements from another florist, DIY florals, or silk flowers.
This allows us to maintain the integrity of the floral design and the creative direction established for your celebration.
Do you work on commercial or interior installations?
Yes. We create custom permanent and semi-permanent installations for commercial, hospitality, and interior spaces.
For commercial or interior installation inquiries, please contact us directly with details about your project, location, timeline, and scope.
Do you use acrylic, glass or lead crystals?
We use premium, high-brilliance crystal with 30%+ lead oxide, sourced from Egypt, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Our crystal is selected for its exceptional brilliance, clarity, and ability to capture and reflect light
How is your design investment structured
Design fees are a flat fee based on the anticipated scope and hours required for the design. A commission is applied to sourced goods
